First I want to congratulate all fans of the universe. Waited. Indeed, they waited. What the multimillion -dollar fans have been completed for so long. The event could not but be respondent due to the excitement, which happened. And at the time of the release of the film, Methacritik gave out an unexpectedly low ball, which he could cause doubts, but whether it was worth going to the cinema? I do not think that the faith of the fans has staggered, I believe that they will go (who has not yet gone) in any case. But is it worth it to go to a person who knows about the world of Warcraft only firsthand – on this subject I decided to voice my opinion, because I am so. I do not know Lor either by games or from books, I heard only some names, but what kind of characters I had no concept at all. Nevertheless, I pay tribute to the scope that I acquired the game universe, respect the developer, because to create something that such an audience is worthwhile. I believe that this information is enough for you to judge how much my opinion is biased. Now to the very topic.

Before watching, I heard from everywhere “this is really a film for fans, but a simple and unenlightened viewer will have a porridge in my head”, and I thought, maybe it is really worth getting to know the history of this world? As a result, I was clinging to the Internet, I finally waved my hand at the venture, resigning to me that I would go “unprepared”. In addition, I analyzed after watching the need to know what happened before and came to the conclusion: the viewer could be interested, but there is no direct need for this. Yes, you may give the impression that you came in the middle of a conversation and you hear a story not from the beginning, but it turns out that it does not matter. If you, dear viewer, were not inherent in the situation, then this does not necessarily mean that the creators were too lazy or could not, it may also mean that they emphasize your attention on something specifically, lowering unnecessary details that will only water and distract you from ideas and the meaning that they try to convey to you. Please do not forget it.

The viewer will not understand at all what it is about. In Warcraft, of course, this is not the case, but not all the names of the characters are repeated a hundred times, so that you can remember them, and when they remember about someone again, an awkward moment may arise when you catch yourself “drawn, and this is who this? This or this one?”. Costs, perhaps, any fantasy, try to carefully look and remember when new faces are included in the plot to avoid such confused.
Orcs are incomparable. Without exaggeration, great. Not only are they painted extremely believable, so they are also recognizable. Do not consider to be racism, but for me Asians are one face, but here during the film I have never confused the characters of the green-skinned ones, and each of them is remembered, but I remember. Differ both externally and charisma. I’m talking about key characters, of course.
People – there are controversial, for everyone their own, probably, questions in choosing actors for certain roles. Someone believes that some have chosen successfully, but others are not very, someone else, but in general I did not hear that they spoke extremely negatively. In general, soundly, well played, some dramatic moments could do more dramatic (I think), the characters could be revealed more. But these are all rather personal wishes. The primary heroes as a whole played qualitatively, and separately pleased that the cast was not selected from particularly popular actors and actresses, this adds a certain freshness.

Plot. This is the place where I expected huge gaps, rivas, strong steps and even jumps. And … this, to my surprise, did not happen. The story that the film presents is quite self -sufficient (not without omissions, I note). Moreover, a surprise for me was the presence of ideas, a certain meaning that is beaten quite interesting and very unexpectedly. My language will not turn to call the storyline a straight line and predictable, but I will make a reservation that this is true not to all the plots of the plot. Where necessary – they are quite visible in advance, and where it was necessary to hide them to the very draw, this was achieved. Do not look for the sake of the action alone, in this film there is a semantic load, the ambiguity of problems of this scale is perfectly shown, as well as the difficulty of solving them. Honestly, I expected the plot direct as a cypress, flat puzzles with one-sided answers on the surface and a banal happy ending on the hackneyed rails, and received really a dilemma, which should arise with this kind of conflict, multifaceted and complete nuances. It is recommended to watch carefully and thoughtfully, otherwise what is happening can confuse and even seem absurd.

About the quality of the picture, everything, I believe, have already heard. I’ll add from myself that yes, and graphics and costumes – look harmonious, worked out, efficiently. Worked on both characters and landscapes. You certainly will not feel deceived, the graphon was not cut before the release, the FPS is stable, does not lag;) as for 2D or 3D – I went to a 2D session and did not regret. Moments that win in a three -dimensional session there are not so many there, and for 2+ hours sitting in these glasses personally my eyes get tired. I doubt that 3D will look worse, but even “even” a flat picture looked fine. The choice is yours)
I would not call sound accompaniment memorable or very west into the soul, but it corresponds to the action on the screen. Complements the mood, atmosphere – which means that he copes with his main task.

Spoon of tar. It is, in places more, in places less, some gaps could not be avoided. There were open questions that prevent the picture of completely self -sufficient, but which are given answers in the universe as a whole, outside the film (explained it after). Not in key points, but nevertheless. Something is compressed to such absurdity that it would be better not to touch at all, but again not the main thing. Somewhat prolonged middle (like It seemed to me), if the first and last thirds of the film look in one breath, then the dynamics of the middle seemed reduced. And there is still an opinion that there are not enough “discharging” moments, I watched the whole film in some kind of tension, I don’t know how to express it more precisely. Well, the tendency to reduce the density of dialogs. I will not say that there were not enough of them here, but for myself I noted that there were more and more things and less talk. For me this is a minus, I love dialogs, a character is revealed in them.

Actually, the overall impression is positive. I am not a fantasy lover as a genre, not a fan of Warcraft, but I left the cinema with my thoughts “It is worth thinking about it”. There is definitely a desire to reconsider later again to lay some points in the head, especially since watching it is pleasant. And I personally believe in what is happening on the screen, and, most importantly, they paid attention to the price of victory, that it is not given easily, which will have to be sacrificed by something. I recommend going and see for ourselves, at least the ticket price and the time spent on watching time is worth. Moreover,
